Tell us about yourself along with a fun fact!
I am a rising senior in high school and go to Monte Vista High School. I currently participate in several clubs such as National Honors Society and the FIDM Fashion Club. I am also a Nordstrom Fashion Ambassador for the second year. I became interested in the STEM field from an early age. Math is and always has been one of my most favorite subjects in school. I got into computer coding after my dad saw a Girls Who Code program at his work and suggested I enroll and gain new skills that will be vital in the future.

Fun Fact: My dream is to one day visit all 50 states.

Someone who inspires you and knowledge they have imparted:

Liz Murray. I have learned from her that you should never give up despite how hard your situation is but instead to take that challenge and push yourself to not only succeed but to become a better person.

Song that makes you want to dance:
Closer by The Chainsmokers ft. Halsley

Challenge you’ve faced and how you overcame it:
For the Girls Who Code final project, my group could not come up with a project idea we all agreed with. However, we overcame it by incorporating all of our ideas into one project and EduJustice, a website educating users about current social justice issues, was born. Challenges persisted throughout the duration of creating the project however, ranging from color scheme to the selection of which issues to highlight. We resolved them through many compromises that left everyone satisfied with the solution and ultimately the final project.

Ideal Job:
My ideal job would be working for a tech company as a product manager and being part of developing the next society-impacting product.

What knowledge would you impart to women in order for them to REIGN their lives?
Everyone who is very advanced at a certain skill or job has started at the very basics. Do not look at them and feel discouraged because you know less because at one point they knew just as much as you currently do! Be confident in yourself!
